Chile & Atacama
Start in Chile, from Valparaíso into the Atacama. Tatio Geyser, Iquique and desert landscapes bring rally and expedition country.
Andes, Atacama, Catamarca, volcanoes, salt flats, Altiplano, Uyuni and, if you wish, Peru with Machu Picchu and the Amazon. From the first riding day, this journey pulls you into another world: desert, colour, altitude, mountain passes and motorcycle expedition feeling.
This journey lives from constant change: one day you are near the Pacific, then deep in the desert, shortly afterwards high up in the Altiplano, surrounded by volcanoes, salt flats and the high Andes. It is this density of contrasts that makes South America so unforgettable.
This is not a standard holiday route, but an authentic South America motorcycle adventure packed with riding days, nature and moments you will talk about for years.
With maps and, on request, GPS points or tracks, each rider can shape the day in their own style and pace, usually in small riding groups.
The support vehicle carries your luggage and provides assistance, so the bike stays light and the long riding days become much more relaxed.
From sea level to around 5,000 meters, from the Pacific to the high Andes and, if you wish, all the way to Machu Picchu and the Amazon.
After four or five days, most riders stop trying to remember everything they have already seen and experienced. South America simply overwhelms the senses – in the best possible way.
A selection of strong impressions from the Andes, the Altiplano, the Atacama, the Salar de Uyuni and Peru.
Open picture world
