Any single- or twin-cylinder enduro or adventure motorcycle is suitable, as long as it is technically well prepared and starts the tour with fresh tyres.
Is this an extreme tour or manageable?
It is a real adventure journey, but not an extreme tour. Some offroad experience is useful; average physical fitness is sufficient.
Is Tierra del Fuego mandatory or optional?
Tierra del Fuego is optional as an extension tour. If you want even more experiences and that southern-end-of-the-world feeling, it is the ideal extension.
